Update: October 2005


After a long and hard fought effort, blueEnergy has finally been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service. blueEnergy is now designated as a 501(c)(3), public charity, nonprofit organization.  This designation entitles blueEnergy to apply for foundation grants and US government grants and makes all private donations it receives tax-deductible.

Tax-exempt status is retroactive to the date of incorporation, meaning that all contributions made to blueEnergy after Novermber 19th, 2003, are now officially deductible.
